About The Project
Invenergy first began developing the Tamarack Solar project in 2020. On September 3rd, 2024 we presented the project to county commissioners. We are excited for this next step for Tamarack Solar and look forward to continuing to support and engage with the Marshall County community.

We take seriously our commitments to our local host communities and look forward to continuing to work closely with Marshall County, contributing to the area's economic development, and providing an additional supply of clean, homegrown energy in Indiana.
"My family and I made the decision to diversify our farm operations into solar after careful review and research about the technology and possible effects to the community. After much research, we decided that this would not only be a great opportunity for us, but for Marshall County and its finances with a multi-million dollar investment into county taxes." - Bob Broeker, Project Landowner
"Diversifying our farm operations to harvest solar energy provides a steady income stream allowing our families to continue to prosper from our land. We deserve respect from our neighbors and county officials to use our land as we see fit. We know what is best for our land and leasing to a solar farm is our right, free of excessive regulations." - Tim McCarthy, Project Landowner
